ST. CHRISTOPHER’S, PORTSMOUTH
HAS GIVEN OUT OVER 1,000 MANNA BAGS!

Thanks to the work and generous donations of many parishioners over the last 5 years, St. Christopher’s has made and distributed over 1,000 Manna bags to our homeless and hungry brothers and sisters. The idea for this ministry was brought to us by Deacon Margery Howell and has continued under the guidance of Mrs. Beverly Anderson. Various groups such as our EYC, ECW, and GIGGLES children’s ministry have participated in putting the bags together. It has even been a joint outreach project with Christopher Academy – the school that shares our building. Parishioners have donated hundreds of cans of Vienna Sausages, pasta, crackers, and pairs of socks to fill the bags! Thank you to everyone!
